MA attained her BA (Fine Arts) degree from RMIT / The Art School in 2001 and the MA degree in Feminist Theory and Practice in the Visual Art University of Leeds, UK in 2002. She received the FCO Chevening University of Leeds Scholarship from the Hong Kong Arts Development Council in 2001. She has participated in exhibitions including:Curiosities (2004, Para/Site HK), Meat (2003, 1a space HK), Articulation (2002, Leeds University, UK) and Wo-Man (2001, Old Ladies House, Macau). MA has taken part in the HIAP (Helsinki International Artist Program) for artist-in-residence in Finland (2006). Selected entry of 2005 Hong Kong Art Biennial Exhibition.
