CHOI Yan- chi is an artist as well as an artist-curator. She is an active participant in HK arts since the early 80s. CHOI has been regarded as one of the forerunners to initiate new art movement in HK.
CHOI has taken part in numerous overseas shows and was a grantee of Asia Cultural Council. In 1992 Choi was invited to take part in the first conference on Contemporary Asia Art by Asia Society in New York. In 1998 CHOI started the idea of forming an independent art space.
