Lau Works as a designer and photographer in Hong Kong. His Works have been shown in various show "City Vibrance" and "Contemporary Hong Kong Art Biennial 1992" in the Hong Kong Art Museum in 1992, "An Exhibition for Comtemporary Photography from mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan" in the Hong Kong Arts Centre in 1994. "On Hong Kong - An exhibition of Contemporary Photography", Hong Kong Fringe Festival, at City Hall in 1998. He was co-editor of NunaHeDuo(Dislocation), a journal of photography.
